December was another month of great progress. Not only was our PCB designed and printed, but Thomas and I have completed soldering our components on to it. We also had a mid-project progress assessment in which our mouse was tested for its ability to use the touch bars to avoid obstacles. The website also saw a great makeover. Consistent uploading of images for the gallery as well as updates to the news page, led to a full looking and more professional website. A problem faced this month was that one of our touch bars had a very weak spring. I overcame this by soldering wire on a new touch bar and replacing it on to our mouse, allowing for an aluminium bar to be used to improve the response of the mouse.
