PCB Design

PCB Version 1 Schematic

The original schematic found on Proteus designed by Dr Timothy Davies, implemented by Mr David Moody

PCB Version 1 Layout

PCB Layout as designed by Jack Davies and Thomas Hobbs

PCB Version 2 Schematic

Before printing the PCB displayed above, Thomas decided to implement ultra-sonic range finders onto our design. This is an additional feature which we hope will improve our chances of success.

PCB Version 2 Layout

The PCB version 2 layout designed by Thomas Hobbs, approved by Mr David Moody

PCB Version 2 Printout

Upon Designing the PCB on Proteus, we printed the design out using all of the equipment available in and around B107. Thomas and Jack then drilled out the holes for our PCB and soldered on all of the components, with some requiring double-sided solder.
