After returning from the Easter break, we received our newly printed shell. On the shell, I worked on attaching the teeth to the shell lid. Then I turned my focus to the website, I updated the gallery with new media, and completed the documentation for the CAD section. We then headed off to Gregynog, at this point our micromouse was fully assembled.
Before assessment day we conducted tests on our micromouse ensuring everything worked smoothly. On assessment day as a team, we took our micromouse to be inspected and accessed, we showcased obstacle avoidance, combat demonstration, technical inspection, and line following, facing no issues. Afterward, we gave a presentation about the project, I talked about the PCD and shell design aspects of our project in the presentation. Finally, we participated in the micromouse combat tournament and emerged as champions.
