Ridhwaan’s April Blog

During april we attending the final tournament and testing of our micro mouse. Our line following was a success and with the amount of work we did to make it work it was very rewarding. On the other hand, our obstacle avoidance did not fare as well. Incorporating the ultrasonic sensors would have been a solution but due to our time constraint we were limited with options going into the fights.

Beyond the technical side, the trip itself was one of the best parts. We bonded as a team, laughed at stressful last minute objectives and built a few memories that will stick with us past graduation. Our team speech was my most memorable moment – it was honest and captured the teams fun spirit. It was great to share our journey and personalities as we were interrogated via the professors.

While our micro mouse did not win every fight, we were proud of what we made and achieved mostly more than what we expected.
