October saw us meeting each other and forming team Delta. After we introduced ourselves we assigned roles and responsibilities. I choose to assign myself roles involving management tasks and building circuits. I choose these roles as I find them to be my strengths, in particular, building physical circuits and testing them for faults. After we all knew our roles, we set about getting started with the Micromouse project as soon as possible. Me and fellow teammate Nayim began to build the circuit for both the IR “infrared” sensors and the touch bars. While doing so we we sure to document our progress and captured videos demonstrating the circuits in action. Our progress was steady and we were able to finish building the circuits by the end of October. Alongside our progress, the rest of the team set about designing and constructing the website, as well as setting out the plan of attach for the months leading up to Christmas.
Overall, I am very happy with the progress of Team Delta and I am looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead of us in the following weeks and months.
