For our special feature, as a group we decided to have indicators, lights and horns built into our Micromouse. We first began by experimenting with a variety of breadboard configurations to understand how the circuits would work and what components would be required. We found that having 2 rear and 2 front indicators, 2 headlights and a reverse light worked well.
After this experimentation, we decided that we would integrate our special feature into the PCB that contained our IR sensor circuitry. We did this as we were confident that there was enough room for both circuits and that they would not interfere with each other’s operations.
