Billable time refers to the amount of time a professional spends on a particular project for a client. This makes it easier to calculate proper compensation for their work. In this context it refers to the amount of time that went into working on both our teams micromouse and website. Per week the amount of time spent in the labs working on the micromouse was typically 6 hours (give or take arriving early and leaving late). While the website was being worked on in parallel with the micromouse during the labs an additional 1 – 2 hours could be added to this due to work done outside of labs. Therefore, the total billable time for constructing the micromouse is 72 hours per semester and 144 hours in total.
