In October this is where we started our micromouse journey. There are several sessions of understanding the coding and then team building before being finally put into our groups. In these groups we are meant to advance on the actual model of the micromouse (robot). We first started with a with project planning where we sorted out who will be doing what for the project. Sorting who will be team manager during the weeks. Breaking down the roles into their core skills and laying down the grounds rules which then finish with us signing it.
I was designated as team manger to begin the project which oversees everyone on the project. This is a responsibility that I am required to upheld and get everyone going on the right track. To begin the first practical construction we had Juan and Charlie work on the infrared sensor which will is used on the micromouse. Meanwhile me and Llewellyn started the work on the website. We continue this for two weeks but one week I switched with Juan on the hardware to give a new pair of eyes due to some challenges we were having.
Then the last session in October we started the use of the software Proteus where we showed how to use and what we are using it for. This software was used by the entire team to give a understanding of it and if one of our team mates need help.
