Charlie Clarke
Hi, my name is Charlie and I am studying Electrical and electronic engineering at Swansea university in my second year. I am the technician, designer and tester for our project. I have been assigned these tasks because before I applied for university, I was an electrical CCTV engineer. I have run wires, built CCTV cameras and a PC. My job is to help my team colleagues to design. I will make sure the circuits are built, soldered neatly and working correctly. Lastly, when we have the final products I will test and problem solve.
Josh Jarvis
Hello! My name is Josh and I am the main designer, tester and documenter of my team. These roles mean that I am hands on for the hardware and keep up to date with website and information that will help us in the future. I am a student at Swansea university doing my second year of the Electronic and Electrical engineering. I am interested in building and developing cars and hoping to get into one of the big car companies in the future. I have always been a creative person who constantly build ideas and create my own, this is what set me on the path to being of a engineer. The parts of building a new future always intrigued me and developing the future is needed now more than ever.
The designer is meant to get the ball rolling for the project, drawing inspiration for it and then starting building with ideas on how to do it. The tester part is where it comes to the end and we need to see if the circuit is working. This can involve changing a few part of circuits, doing testing and constantly looking at the continuity of the circuit.
I am a hardworking, determined person who looking to improve on the micromouse work. I am a person who will persevere through the hard times and will continue to struggle through the thick thin of everything. I want to innovate the design and add new features to the project make it new and fresh.
Juan Estrada
Hi, my name is Juan Estrada. I am from Madrid in Spain. I am an Electrical and Electronic 2nd Year Engineer at Swansea University. I am a member of the ECHO team which shall be victorious!
My main jobs in the team are: I am the webmaster so I am in charge of changes and format in the website and the finishing look, I am also in charge of the PCB design and the software of the project.
Outside of lectures, I play football and do parkrun and hiking on the weekends. I am also a keen swimmer since I was a lifeguard during my A-levels.
Llewellyn Tembo
I’m Llewellyn, and I’ll be working on the electronics, website, and software for our micro-mouse project. I’ll be handling everything from designing the sensors and doing the soldering . On the software side ,i’ll be helping with programming the algorithms that allow the micro-mouse to make decisions and navigate on its own. Together, these roles let me bring the micro-mouse to life as a fast, smart, and interactive as possible.
