We used a program called Proteus to build our PCB because it was easy for beginners to use, offered a lot of functionality, and had a nice graphical user interface. When soldering components onto the PCB, for example, the program’s ability to model the PCB design in three dimensions and its ease of component placement would be helpful.

The schematic that we had to adhere to in order to complete our design is depicted in the picture above.

Transferring the calibrated infra-red sensors and soldiering all the components onto the PCB will ensure that everything is operating as it should.
