Throughout the month of December we have been further improving the PCB design by adding a special feature which will allow the circuit to activate the integrated buzzer when the infra-red sensor detects an obstacle. We have found that a better way of activating the integrated buzzer circuit may be to use the Raspberry pi to control the state of the buzzer rather than direct connection from the sensor outputs. Overall we are making steady progress and despite initial problems implementing the special feature it is now working as intended.
