From my experience as team manager, following the commendable practice of equality, diversity and inclusion was of paramount importance when discussing the success of my team. This allowed each member of my team to feel welcome and work together, regardless of their ethnic background or gender. Promoting this mindset allowed for many valuable ideas to be brought to the table for the team to choose from, enhancing the creativity and innovation of my team which also added value to each team member. Furthermore, embracing the values of equality, diversity and inclusion served to boost team member morale and brought out the best skills of each team member, all contributing to a stronger outcome in terms of business. As a whole, promoting the values of equality, diversity and inclusion in my team has strengthened the bond of our team and our resolve to work as hard as possible to build the best micromouse. By highlighting the benefits that are included with equality, diversity and inclusion, I hope that more people become aware of this so that we can all strive to create a more equitable world together, for everyone.
