Around the middle of October we were introduced to a new project we would be working on, the Micro-mouse project. We looked at different aspects of working in a team and having a balance as well as variety of people. Once we had been placed in our groups we very quickly planned what our tasks were and when they should be completed by. Each of us choosing our roles in the team, although nothing was set in stone it was good to have an idea of what each of us would be doing and whether we were content with our chosen roles. Now that we knew roughly what each of us would be doing, the following session we began the project. Firstly, we began to construct the website with a section to introduce the project as well as each individual person and space for our blog posts. We also started building the breadboard circuit to test the infra-red sensors, this will tell us how the circuit works and also allow us to experiment with different resistances to then alter the sensitivity of the sensors. The shell was already well on itβs way to be completed as the wheels with motors and touch-bars had been attached.
