As seen on the PCB, only half of the board was used which opens up the opportunity to add other features to the board. As a team we discussed what features this could be and one of the options would be to add ultrasonic sensors on the back to measure distance and avoid collisions so that the micro micromouse can ‘see’ 360 degrees around itself. Another option could be some power management circuit which would have voltage regulators to provide stable power to sensors, motors, and the Pi Pico.
