In this month we started preparing the shell, and we determined the shape of the shell, which is a penguin. I think the image of Penguin is both appealing and recognisable, resonates with many users and adds fun to our technology projects. Ethan and I discussed the disassembling and assembling of the shell, and finally decided to separate the head and body of the penguin and use a mortise and tenon structure similar to the L-shape to keep the head and body in the proper position. This month we determined the shape of the exterior, the main structure, and built the basic model.
