Sustainable design and component recycling plan for scrapping

In our team’s project, the topic of sustainability is not only a paper mention, but also a commitment. By reflecting on our design process and the recycling plan after the use of the experimental vehicle, we firmly believe that our experimental plan will make a positive contribution to sustainable development.

In the design phase, I focused on multiple aspects to ensure that the experimental product complies with sustainability principles throughout the entire experimental cycle. Firstly, in the process of shell design, I aim to minimize the thickness and weight of the shell to minimize the raw materials required for 3D printing. In addition, during the assembly process of the micromouse, we try to minimize the use of unnecessary components and assemble them carefully to prevent excessive component loss. Secondly, we focus on the efficiency and lifespan of our works. By designing higher quality and more durable microbial structures, we can reduce resource waste and extend the lifespan of our products. We also considered the energy efficiency and maintainability of micromouse, designed detachable casings and fixing points to reduce waste generated during battery replacement. Finally, we focused on the final handling of the work. In the design phase, we considered how to recycle components when products are scrapped. This not only helps to reduce the generation of waste, but also maximizes the recycling and reuse of valuable materials.

We have developed various plans for component recycling when experimental products are scrapped. Firstly, regarding material identification and classification, during the car manufacturing phase, we will identify each component and classify its material type. This makes it easier for us to identify and separate recyclable materials when the work is scrapped. Secondly, in the recycling process, we will establish a complete recycling process to ensure that waste products can be recycled in a timely and effective manner. This process will include collecting and sorting micromouse, handling non recyclable items, and reusing usable parts. In terms of resource recycling and reuse, we will strive to recycle and reuse valuable materials from waste products as much as possible. We will reuse these materials for assembling other experimental designs to reduce the usage of new parts and minimize environmental loads. Finally, regarding potential environmental impacts, we will evaluate the efficiency and steps of the recycling process multiple times to continuously improve our recycling plan and ensure it aligns with sustainable development goals. Through these plans, we are committed to building an environmental protection system for circular production, minimizing resource waste and environmental pollution, and contributing our efforts to sustainable development.

In summary, every member of our team actively participated in the development of sustainable design and recycling plans, which reflects our commitment to sustainability. We believe that through unremitting efforts and innovation, our experimental experience will gain a deeper understanding of sustainable development, which will have a profound impact on our future work and other aspects.
