We built this micro mouse using many devices and tools.
Component cost breakdown:
- Two touch bars
- Two motors
- Two wheels
- Several wires, approximately 4 meters long
- Eight LED lights
- Two plastic boards and one wooden board
- Several nails and nuts
- One micro servo
- One DFplayer mini
- One buzzer
- Six 100nF capacitors
- One 10nF capacitor
- One CD4093
- Three 1N4148
- Two 1M resistors
- Six 10k resistors
- Three 330 resistors
- One 47k resistor
- One 62k resistor
- Three LDR
- Four transistors
- Approximately 200 grams of 3D printed plastic
- One micro controller
- One battery
Roughly estimated to be around 122.4 pounds
Next is the estimation of indirect costs:
- The laboratory provides six hours of time per week, with two semesters added together and additional time, resulting in approximately 70 hours of time.
- During the construction process, we consulted many instructors and professors
- We used soldering tools, screwdrivers, wire cutters, laboratory computers, electric drills, and other tools.
- 3D printing of approximately 200 grams of plastic
Our estimated price is 1460 pounds
Total completion time:
As mentioned earlier, it took approximately 70 hours to develop Micro Mouse, plus the website development took approximately 80 hours.
